Letters – Issue 119

It was good to see Roger Robinson’s warm review of my father’s book, The Collected Poems of Alistair Te Ariki Campbell, in the last issue of New Zealand Books Pukapuka Aotearoa (Winter 2017). However, his assumption that the collection was edited by my brother Greg is incorrect: Robert Sullivan and I were the editors. There is a note to this effect on the imprint page.

The review questions the omission of “For Lauris Edmond”, but this poem is in fact included, on page 294. It was renamed “To a Poet Who Died Unexpectedly and Alone” by the author.
